Safety Information

Bicycling is a great form of exercise and also an excellent form of family fun.  However, even in the seemingly safe streets of Bell Court, dangers do exist if biking safety rules are not followed.  The link below is an excellent overview of these rules.

As everyone in Lexington can attest, one significant problem currently facing our city is graffiti.  Although we cannot always catch the vandals in the act, we can report their work to the city when we see it.  You can do so by calling the following groups based on where the graffiti is located or complete a vandalism report form by following the link below.

Below are the groups responsible for trying to clean up Graffiti:
Graffiti in progress, call Police at 258-3600.
Graffiti on Urban County Government Buildings, call 258-3988.
Graffiti on city-owned street signs, call Traffic Engineering at 258-3830
Graffiti on Parks property, call Parks at 288-2900.
Graffiti on private property, call Code Enforcement at 258-3270.
Graffiti on Interstate State Roads, call 246-2059.
Graffiti on bridges and overpasses - state - 246-2059; local - 258-3988
Graffiti on state roads signs, call 246-2059.
Railroad overpasses - Railroad company
